By the end of this course you will: Be familiar with the tools used to interact with SQL Server databases. Be comfortable with basic SELECT statement syntax and be able to write queries that extract records from a single table. Understand enough about the more advanced SELECT statement syntax that you can figure out what the statement is doing and where to go to learn more. Be able to safely make changes to records in tables, using INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE statements. Be able to create and alter VIEWs. Be able to find text patterns in data using the LIKE operator and full text searching.
